Atelier Bui – Vieux-Montréal
Transformation of a commercial space including design of displays for the 4th optometry Bui boutique.
Condominium (Old Montreal): Complete Renovation
Transformation of a magnificent condominium on Sainte-Hélène Street in Old Montreal. The space was reconfigured and the design redone completely.
House (Westmount): Complete Interior and Exterior Renovation
Three-story transformation of a house in Westmount. Space was reconfigured to optimize functionality and its natural lighting while showcasing original elements of the house. The garage and the terrace were redesigned as well, and the backyard landscaping completely redone.
Condominium (Les Cours Le Royer, Old Montreal): Complete Renovation
Transformation of an exceptional condominium of over 2,000 ft2 (corner unit) that looks onto les Cours Le Royer and Notre-Dame Basilica. The space was completely reconfigured to optimize the space and its natural lighting. A newer, more modern design was created by integrating interesting elements while maintaining the condo’s original character.
Chalet in Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard: Design and Construction
Chalet designed and built on undeveloped land in the Laurentians. Modest in its dimension yet vast in its layout and filled with natural lighting, it includes a double garage on top of which a studio has been added.
Mount Royal’s Hill Park Circle
Complete transformation both inside and out of one of the eight townhouses that overlook Mount Royal Park. The result is a home filled with light that is functional, modern and welcoming. Work completed in 12 weeks.
Old Montreal’s De La Commune
Substantial modifications to a condominium that overlooks the Old Port of Montreal. Partition walls, plumbing, electricity, ventilation, floors, the entire kitchen, all the bathrooms as well as the complete interior design were redone in order to create a space that is both open and functional where storage has been optimized. The character features of this building constructed in 1886 were enhanced with a timeless modern layout able to withstand the test of time. Work completed in 11 weeks.
Anecdote: The owners were met one hour prior to leaving the country only to come back on the date they were to move into their new Canadian home. By way of significant mutual trust, all the choices and discussions were carried out remotely.
Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard in the Laurentians
Complete metamorphosis of a country home in the woods of Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard. Work completed in 12 weeks.
Mount Royal’s Hill Park Road
Major adaptation of Hill Park Road’s modernist “White House,” while respecting its initial cachet. Situated right next to Mount Royal Park, this home’s space was optimized so as to make it more open, enjoyable, functional and to allow additional light to penetrate the premises.
Montreal’s Rosemont Neighbourhood
Extensive conversion of a traditional “shoe box house” into a sound, spacious and well-lit home.
Griffintown’s les Bassins du Havre
Exhaustive pre-construction modifications of several condominiums bought off plan so as to maximize the different spaces in order to improve their lighting and their views, as well as to reconfigure their layout ensuring discreet private spaces.
